From writing code to defining the tech strategy
A journey of over 17 years: I started as a Full-Stack developer writing code and today I design robust software architectures, lead technical teams, and guide the technology strategy of startups and established companies as a Fractional CTO.

Technical direction and project management for agency clients. Responsible for technical feasibility, budgeting, and coordinating the development and optimization of corporate and e-commerce websites.
My Experience
My time at Logaritmia marked the definitive transition from a purely technical developer role to interacting directly with business and strategy. I accompanied the agency's growth from its inception with just 3 people to consolidating a complete, multidisciplinary team of development, design, and marketing. This stage has sharpened my strategic vision, allowing me to conduct deep analyses not only of software architecture but also of real viability and impact on our clients' projects.
Throughout this growth, I led and executed key technical developments using highly diverse technologies:
- High-performance E-commerce: Headless development with Shopify and Hydrogen (deployed on Oxygen) for the momabikes.com platform.
- Complex systems: Architecture and development of the platform for Racechip Aragón (registrations.racechiparagon.com), built with a modern frontend in Nuxt.js and a robust backend in Laravel.
- Custom solutions: Creation of specific plugins and tailored ecosystems for companies like kingscorner.es, including advanced landing pages (such as their audiovisual AI certificate) integrated with Elementor Pro.
The Company
Development of applications for the Electronic Administration Portal. High-criticality projects with hexagonal architecture and DDD.
My Experience
- Core development and maintenance of FACe (General Entry Point for Electronic Invoices for the AGE), reliably processing millions of yearly financial transactions.
- Modernization of the FORMA platform (critical web publishing system for the Spanish Government) adhering to strict accessibility standards and high-traffic loads.
- Implementation of Hexagonal Architecture and DDD patterns in PHP 8 / Symfony 5.4, securing a clean, modular, and decoupled code environment.
- Creation of comprehensive testing suites (TDD using PHPUnit and E2E testing with BeHat) achieving 85%+ test coverage across core microservices.

Development of a cloud system for real-time IoT device and sensor management.
My Experience
- Design and development of a scalable cloud web portal for sensor telemetry visualization and IoT device management at global scale.
- Standardization of development environments using Docker and Docker Compose, reducing developer onboarding time to under a single day.
- Integration of RabbitMQ message brokers to process asynchronous jobs and handle high-throughput sensor telemetry queues efficiently.

My Experience
- Modular, accessible frontend development of interactive components and templates for zaragoza.es (Zaragoza City Council), enhancing citizen UX.
- Design and development of a network server monitoring dashboard for Orange, utilizing Laravel APIs and Vue.js frontends.
- Co-development of the internal HR and school management platform for the fpdistancia.aragon.es portal (ITAINNOVA).

Development of a SaaS sports timekeeping platform and a custom registration system with automated data processing using AI.
My Experience
- Designed and developed the core of registrations.racechiparagon.com, implementing a modern decoupled architecture with Laravel (Backend) and NuxtJS (Frontend).
- Integrated AI models to automatically parse race regulation files (PDF/DOCX), extracting prices, categories, and payment rules to bootstrap event setups.
- Engineered real-time race ranking algorithms and WebSocket pushes to deliver instantaneous classification updates to participants.

Frontend and backend development on proprietary CMS with Symfony connected to a PIM system.
My Experience
- Full-stack engineering for complex corporate sites and e-commerce applications (including BTV.es, Topavi.es, and Egamaster.es).
- Optimization of Symfony PHP controllers and caching layers, leading to a 30% reduction in database and PIM server response times.
The Company
6 years building AvaiBook Sports, a sports event management SaaS. Grew from developer to technical leader of the team.
My Experience
- Technical leadership in building and scaling AvaiBook Sports from MVP to a mature SaaS processing registrations and payment gateways.
- Direct technical alignment and custom integrations for high-profile sporting events (RFEA, Transvulcania, Farinato Race).
- Promoted from Junior Developer to Tech Lead / Architect, coordinating team sprints, database scaling, and Tier-3 technical support.
